CANNABIS CORPSE Announces Live Dates, Vinyl Release

May 28, 2008

CANNABIS CORPSE, the Richmond, Virginia-based old-school death metal band featuring Philip "Landphil" Hall (guitar, bass) from MUNICIPAL WASTE, his brother Josh "HallHammer" Hall (drums) and Andy "Fossergrim" Horn (vocals),will celebrate the release of its sophomore effort, "Tube of the Resinated", with the following two live appearances:

Jun. 03 - Richmond, VA @ The Bike Lot (w/ PHOBIA, MAGRUDERGRIND, SKARP, JUICE TYME)
Aug. 16 - Richmond, VA @ Hadad's (Best Friends Day) (w/ ULTRA DOLPHINS, BRAINWORMS, DIRECT CONTROL, APESHIT)

The June 3 show will be the formal record release show for "Tube of the Resinated", which is now available on CD from Forcefield Records. The vinyl edition will finally be available June 5 from Robotic Empire and features a never-before-made variation of vinyl, with a laser-etched pot leaf image inserted directly into the vinyl. Photos of this ridiculousness can be seen here.

Pirates Press, the manufacturer who pressed "Tube of the Reisnated", had the following to say: "Nobody has ever seen or made a record like this... a stellar all-around package... four different colors of vinyl to choose from [and] the stoney-ist poster/insert we've ever printed."
